Amazon’s NY City Warehouse Small, But Mighty

Amazon’s first major distribution center in New York City is 20 percent smaller than its usual warehouses, but is able to handle 50 percent more inventory, according to The Wall Street Journal. During its busiest periods, the 855,000-square-foot facility in Staten Island can process more than 1 million items per day.
